He is survived by: his son Jody Nix (Patricia) of Cyril, OK; his granddaughters, Tajah Smith (Jason) of Red Oak, Rachelle Nix of Chickasha, OK and Breanna Nix (Bree) of Cement, OK; his great grandchildren, Patrick Pace of Red Oak, OK, Jaykoda Cogburn of Red Oak, OK, Lori Cogburn of Red Oak, OK, Cason Cogburn of Red Oak, OK, Jaalyn Andrews, Javon Andrews and Jazzlyn Nix of Chickasha; his close friend Evalynn Rith Johnson; and his brother Jim Nix.
