He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Pool and Rachel Louisa Pool (Hendrix); his wife Juanita Omicka Christian; his children, Gary Dale Pool, Edsel Leon Pool, Ronald Gene Pool, Lisa Diane Ellis and Iris "Belinda" Horstkoetter; and his siblings, Wilmouth, Prentis, Aubrey, Opal, May and Sonny.
He is survived by: his children, Juanita Louise Dresser (Jay), Jimmy Lee Pool of Chickasha and Saundra Carr of Fort Worth, Texas; and his children-in-law, Terry Horstkoetter and Patricia Pool. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.
