Barrett Scott Rhyne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barrett Scott Rhyne of Chickasha, Oklahoma, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 1, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Beverly and Lula Rhyne; and his great-grandparent Peggy Underwood. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Rhyne and Elizabeth Rhyne (Beth Anne); his grandparents, Jim and Kaci Underwood of Alex; his aunts, Ellen Fly (Zach) of Blanchard, Nancy Helmcamp (Randy) of McAllen, TX and Ruth McLaughlin (John) of Stanwood, WA; his uncle William Nestor (Mary) of Palestine, TX; and his cousins, Taylor, Carter, Jackson, Madison Helmcamp, Kaylee Rhyne, Damian, Amara McLaughlin, Parker Ross-Underwood, Wade, Wyatt and Bowdie Fly.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when family members were only able to "meet" Barrett via technology, the staff at CMHH loved him in their place.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital's Child Life and Expressive Therapies or the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network.
