He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Percy "Buddy" Clay and Vinita Violet Clay (Walkup); his wife Anita Sue Clay (Wilson); and his siblings, Jimmy Clay and Linda Caywood.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Clay (Shelly) of Council Hill, OK and Deborah Kay Creekmore (Greg) of Liberty Mounds, OK; his siblings, Patricia "Aunt Dude" Helm of Broken Arrow, William Clay of Wagoner, Carl Clay of Bixby, Laura Layne of Centerton, AR, Buddy Leon Clay of Bixby and Dwayne Allen Clay of Sapulpa; his grandchildren, Steven, Nikkie, Kasey, Stephanie, Mikayla, Sean, Madison, Garret and Clara; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Cain, Ryian, Raelynn, Gunnar, Stetson, Mason and Deacon Wayne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and longtime friends.
