Maxine Tersteege Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2024, at the age of 92, Maxine Tersteege of Bethany, Oklahoma passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Tersteege to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Maxine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Maxine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Townsend and Nell Townsend (Steeds); her brother Charles Townsend of Ames, Iowa; and her son Jim Carr of Hennepin, Oklahoma.. She is survived by: her husband Dutch; her sister Barbara Mabry of Sioux Falls; and her children, Debbie Sanders of Yukon, Donna Sciulara of Henderson, Nevada and Larry Sturgeon of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Elks Foundation.
