He is survived by: his wife Linda Jones (Thompson); his son Shannon Jones (Brooke) of Sherman; his grandchildren, Keagan Jones of Tulsa, OK, Tyson Jones of Shawnee, OK, Treyson Jones of Denton, TX, Darian and Vincent Cherry of Tulsa, OK; and his great grandchild Greyson Jones of Tulsa, OK.

He has played and sang for many different groups over the years including, The Sounds of Joy, Foundation, Youth on the Move for Christ, and The TLB singers.
