He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Barnes and Gladys Dorothy Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Barnes; his children, Kelly Steven Ferguson (Metra), Ivan Kristoff Barnes (Lisa), Shanna Marie Newman (Chuck) and Stephanie Marie Bourland (Lance); his siblings, David John Barnes (Cynthia) and Patricia Ann Totz; his grandchildren, Lily Ruiz, Max Ruiz, Lauren Barnes, Kaelyn Barnes, Liana Bourland and Lanex Bourland; and his close friends, Barry James, OJ Robinson and Bruce Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
