She was predeceased by: her parents, Vestal Lee and Dovey Wimberley (Crawford); her son Guy Grimes; her granddaughter Krissa Graves; and her great great grandchild Keaton Brooks Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Grimes (Jill) of Lawton, Cherryl Grimes of Edmond and Eddie Grimes (Elaine) of Austin, Texas.; her grandchildren, Jerry Grimes (Bernice), William Grimes (Shannon), Richard Grimes (Sherri), Jonathan Grimes (Adrian), Emily Grimes (Kyle Wood), Darah Henley (Jason), Randah Leveritt (Jesse), Davey Grimes, Sarah Grimes and Jeffrey Grimes; her brother Melvin Wimberley (Joyce) of San Antonio; and her daughter-in-law Joy Grimes of Lawton, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren.
