She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smock and Margaret "Peg" Cain Smock; and her grandparents, Mary, Ralph Cain, Edith and John Lenoard Smock.
She is survived by: her son Mark Allen Cain Hinds; her grandson Mark Allen Hinds II; and her sisters, Rebecca Wilson and Erin Shrimpton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
