Darrell V. Iden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell V. Iden (Zanesville, Ohio), who passed away on November 14, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bernedetta Moore, Ella Jean Carpenter and Donald Iden; and his wife Myrna Loy Huffman. He is survived by: his sons, Ron (Cindy Iden), Jeff (JoEllen Iden) and Roger (Gina Iden); his grandchildren, Ashlee, Bryan McAfee, Janel, Mitch Blankespoor, Jay, Tomra Iden, Jacie and Mark Simon; and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Brylee McAfee, Jesalyn, Tyus Blankespoor and Addison Iden.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gratiot United Methodist Church (345 South St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Poplar Fork Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Darrell's name to The Helen Purcell Home, Activities Department: 1854 Norwood Boulevard, Zanesville, OH. 43701.
