With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Byrd of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Mobley and Mary Ann Lucas; and her husband William James Byrd A.. She is survived by: her children, David "DJ" Brogdon, Avery Danage Simone, Pauline Jones "Tommy", Debora Seawood, Lynetta Turner "Stephen" Wendelin "Wendy" and Caretta Byrd; her sister Lorana Simmons; and her godchildren, Derral Bradon and Felicia Williams. She is also survived by 23 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
