She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Boyer and Blanche Boyer (Davis); her husband John Walter Leavens; her son John Lawson; and her siblings, Bert Boyer, Jr., Wanda Schabaugh, Betty Macchio and Shirley Speelman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Corliss Wright, Toni Juergensen of Boardman and Tammy Hray of Vienna; and her sister Alberta Sheely of Petersburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions take the form of donations to the Wilmer Eye Institute John Hopkins Medicine, 750 East Pratt Street, 17th floor, Baltimore, MD, 21202.
