He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent McLaughlin and Elizabeth McLaughlin (McEvoy); and his sisters, Mary Helen McMahon (Jack), Kay, Rita Ryan (Jim), Anne Flannery (Frank), Sue Johnson (Chuck) and Lenore Nagle (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Betty McLaughlin; his children, Kelly McLaughlin (Cleveland), Richard (Carmen), Christopher (Liberty) and Molly Burdette (Jamie); his grandchildren, Mickey Thomas (Jason), Tim Gruscinski, Kevin Gruscinski (Sarah), Nastasia, Killian, Savannah-Jane McLaughlin, France, Sean, Christy, Erin, Patrick McLaughlin, Brendan, Katie, Colin and Brigid Burdette; his great grandchildren, Bennett James and Jack Richard Burdette; and his siblings, Jeanne McLaughlin Foley, Jim McLaughlin and Vincent (Margaret).
