He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank D. Erwine and Mary Gray Erwine; his parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Carl Wolter; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Sebastian, Richard Wolter, Robert Wolter and Carl Wolter.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Wolter Erwine of Hubbard; his children, Betsy Sommers (Brian Sommers) of Wethersfield, Conn. and Richard Erwine (Veronica Maginnis) of New York, N. Y.; his sisters, Susan Sebastian of Chagrin Falls and Lesley Homans of Chagrin Falls; and his grandchildren, Max, Nate Sommers, James and Pia Erwine. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Hospice of the Valley – Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514, where Dick received such compassionate and loving care at the end of his life.
