She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard and Katherine Bell Reeder Sr.; her siblings, Howard Jr., Herman, Harold Sr. and Patti Reeder; her grandson Darrell; her nephews, Andre and Jazmon Reeder; the father of her children Donald "Reggie" McLendon; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Davis and Timothy Barnette.
She is survived by: her husband William Meeks; her children, Candace L. McLendon of Reynoldsburg, OH, Brandy L. McLendon of Youngstown and Donny L. McLendon of Campbell; her sisters, Jacqueline Mitchell of Youngstown, Cheryl Davis of Youngstown and Tonya Barnette of Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Arionne, Aniya Chatman Jai, Dyn Bankston, Amari, D'Airrya Brown and Ava McLendon; her cousin Charles Diggs; her godson Daylen Harris Jr.; and her sister Min.
