With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary R. Murphy of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Kelley and James Norman Bullock; her sisters, Annie Mae Scott and Marie Grant; and her stepsister Norine Arrington.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde T. Alston; her daughters, Marene Alston of Niles, OH and Lillian Cunningham; her son-in-law Demetruis Cunningham; her granddaughter Mara D. Cunningham of Youngstown, OH.; her siblings, Olivia Johnson of Willingboro, NJ, Ann Allen of Patterson, N. J. and Hylvestor Bullock of Austintown, OH.; her stepmother Irene Bullock of Louisburg, NC.; her stepbrother Leonard Arrington (Doris) of Darlington, SC.; her siblings-in-law, Iola Bullock and James Grant; her godson Kenneth; her friends, Amanda and Delores; her brothers, James Robert, Kenneth and Haywood Bullock; and her stepbrother Joe Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Guests are asked to wear masks and to practice social distancing.
