It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura M. Aleksy of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Mullen and Gertrude Tobiaz Mullen. She is survived by: her husband Frank Aleksy; her children, Chet Aleksy (Mary) of Washington State and Christine Furgas of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Laura "Punky" Furgas (Rachel Wines), Clint Folk (Christina) and Michael Furgas; her great grandchildren, Connor, Caleb Folk and Harlow; her brother James Chagdes; her friend Hattie "Peggy" Wilkins; her sisters, Millie Sayers, Steffie McNeeley and Rose Morrison; and also Dan Paris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many extended family.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 p. m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where private family services will take place at 3 p. m.
