He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Byrdy and Pauline Niezgoda Byrdy; his wife Ruth Salata; and his siblings, Cappy, Ed, Stanley, Henry Byrdy, Helen Tabaka and Mary Vinski.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Barwinski (Henry) of Old Chatham, NY, Patricia Gailey (Terry) of Youngstown and JoAnn Sicafuse (Tim) of Poland; his grandchildren, Dave Barwinski (Maureen), Elise Payne (Tom), Michael Barwinski (Jen), Steve Barwinski (Taylor), Jacob Gailey (Kendra), Krista Moore (Matt), Catherine and Ethan Sicafuse; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Thomas, Leah, Brooke, Eloise, Sophie, Max and Sienna.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514, in Joseph's memory.
