With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Raymond Herrema (Youngstown, Ohio), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on May 16, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Herrema Sr. and Helen A. Gara Herrema; his son Peter J. Herrema; and his siblings, Robert L. Herrema and Judith Herrema Shorey.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Herrema; his sons, Gregory J. Herrema (Itsuko), Jeffrey M. Herrema (Dana), John R. Herrema III (Rebecca) and Erik S. Herrema (Cory); his siblings, Joanne Viets (Robert), Janet Zorn (Robert) and Thomas Herrema (Janet); and his grandchildren, Haydn (Mari Herrema), Jackson, Evan (Christian Herrema), Jack (Matthew Herrema), Rory, Robby, Brady and Devon (Camden Herrema).
