It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Hope of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Hope and Ada Hope (Howell); his wife Ethelda Hofmann; his brothers, Winfred Hope, Kenneth Hope and Larry Hope; and his granddaughter Angel Whitehair.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Hope-Warren (Wes) of Virginia, Connie Mae Saunders (Melvan) of Columbiana and Dawn I. Karash of Boardman; his grandchildren, Amelia Oaks (Justin), Melvan Saunders, Jr. (Maria), Thomas Saunders (Kristin), Kirk Wolf, Kaleigh Saunders and Hope Karash; his great grandchildren, Julius Saunders, Natalie Saunders, Benjamin Oaks and William Oaks; and his sister Shirley Bradham (Charles) of Clover, SC..
