It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn M. Giannini (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony J. Swierz and Mary Olenick Swierz; and her brothers, Carl M. Swierz and Anthony J. Swierz Jr.. She is survived by: her friend Martha 'Toni Riccardo; her husband John J. Giannini Jr. of Brier Hill; her grandchildren, Shawn Silverman (Courtney), Jaclyn Silverman, Samuel Silverman (Samantha) and Jacob Silverman; her great grandchild Charlie Robin Silverman; her brother Lawrence J. Swierz (Shelly Douds); her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Vrabel Swierz and Gigi Lapresta Giannini; and her godson Rev. Michael Swierz.
The family wishes memorial tributes in honor of Carolyn be made towards St. Joseph the Provider School, the Oblate Sisters of the Sacred Heart and the American Cancer Society.
