It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Owens of Youngstown, Ohio, born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Owens and Betty Owens; and his sister Mikolette Owens. He is survived by: his sons, Vernon Reed of North Carolina and Damian Kiwani Echols of Youngstown; his siblings, Zina Hill of Youngstown, Denise Black, Joi Ikaro of California, Kelly Wilken (Alan) of Virginia, Tracy Carthorne of Pennsylvania, Carolyn Nobles (Henry) of Texas, Marvea Owens-Perez (Pedro) of Georgia, Remithia Strickland (Darren) of Alabama, Michael Owens (Sharonting) of Maryland, Ben (Morgan) and Charlie Anderson (Tisha) of California; his grandchildren, Rayonna, Damian, Tavian and Riley Echols; his nieces, Bianca Hill and Jessica Wilken; and his friends, Norman "Shy" Clayton, Ron, Law, Horace "Pony" McQueen and Marco "Deanie" Hammond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Due to the pandemic, all guests are asked to wear masks and observe social distancing.
