It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Wanda Junita Armstrong of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joyce E. Thomas and Homer L. Greene Jr.; and her niece Patricia Thomas Allen. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Herbert Louis Armstong; her niece Leigh A. Greene; her sister-in-law JoAnn Blunt of Youngstown; her aunt Ruth Walker of Los Vegas; her nephews, Richard, Keith Thomas and Walter Allen of California; her niece Monica N. Greene; her sister-in-law Judith L Greene of Atlanta; her goddaughter Frances M. Cooper Polite of Duluth; and her caregivers, Tiarra Lewis, Fannie and Aleshia West-Wilder. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
