It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Marie Gay of Youngstown, Ohio, born in Republic, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Malachin and Thomasina Rondelli Malachin; and her husband Stanley Gay Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Kovach of Goose Creek and Michael Gay (Sharmayne) of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Daniel Kanna, Kyle Kovach, Bryson Gay, Alexandra Gay, Lana Gay and Troy Gay; her great grandchild Ashton Stanley; her siblings, Frannie DuPont of Pennsylvania, Thomas Malachin (Sue) of Maricopa and Ariz; her son Stanley O. Gay III; and her siblings, George Malachin Sr., Silvio Martini, Andrew Malachin Jr., Rita Hovanec and Theresa Cosimato.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a. m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a funeral service will take place at 11:30 a. m. Please follow all current social distancing guidelines and health protocols when paying respects to the family and attending the service, including the wearing of masks or face coverings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
