It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Henthorn of Woodsfield, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Henthorn and Margaret Craig Henthorn; his brothers, Jim, Lonnie and Kermit Henthorn; his parents-in-law, Samuel and Ferne Rothenbuhler; and his great grandchild Callie Gallagher.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Rothenbuhler Henthorn; his children, Lisa Gallagher (Randy) of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Douglas Henthorn (Valerie) of Hebron, Ohio, Greg Henthorn (Stephanie) of Mokena, Illinois and Brian Henthorn (Narissa) of Woodsfield, Ohio; his siblings, Vernon "Red" Henthron of Woodsfield, Ohio, Sherry Wilson (Steve) of Woodsfield and Jeanie Dawson of New Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Hay, Lindsay McKeen (Tim), Justin Gallagher (Rebecca), Abbey Henthorn, Jessica, Christopher, Nathan, Jenna Henthorn, Aaron and Rachel Henthorn. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, visitors are asked to wear a mask at visitation and funeral services.
