He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Kahrig and Ella Christman Kahrig; and his siblings, Roger, William, Francis, Virgil, Lester, Herman Kahrig and Martha Uppole.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Grandi Kahrig; his daughter Kristal Jones (Ed) of Caldwell; his siblings, Kenneth Kahrig (Kitty) of Jerusalem, Ohio, Lloyd Kahrig of Wooster, Ohio, Dortha Lee Matz of Dalton, Ohio, Vera Crock of Massillon, Ohio, Leora Cruise of Cumberland, Ohio and Doris Kahrig of Rittman, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Kahrig of Lewisville, Ohio, Linda Reischman of Quaker City, Ohio, Esther Riley of Senecaville and Charlotte Horseley of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
