He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Podlasiak and Kreszenz Mair Podlasiak; his wife Garnet Loper Podlasiak; his siblings, Richard Podlasiak and Katherine Podlasiak Smith; and his brother-in-law Charles Smith.
He is survived by: his children, R. Michael Podlasiak (Mary Lou) of Caldwell, Steve Podlasiak (Kathy) of Gahanna and Barbara Clark (Randy) of Bethesda; his grandchildren, Rachael Tullius (Matt) of Lowell, Sarah Podlasiak of Gahanna, Ryan Schumacher (Jenny) of Barnesville, Scott Podlasiak (Courtney Cruz) of Columbus and Brian Podlasiak of Washington, D. C.; his stepgrandsons, Nicolas Lloyd of Gahanna, Justin Clark (Marleena) of Charleston and Jason Clark of Washington, PA; his great grandchildren, Billy, Seth Schumacher, Clayton, Evie and Nolan Tullius; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Olivia Clark and Becks Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Keevert, Sylvia Podlasiak and Janet Keevert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
