He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Pruitt and Laura Mize Pruitt; and his daughter Regina Stowe. He is survived by: his close friend Pamela Winland of Woodsfield; and his children, L. B. Pruitt of Woodsfield, Don Pruitt (Jodi) of Norwalk, Doug Pruitt (Darlene) of Bethesda, Loree Pruitt Guthrie (David) of Jerusalem, Penny Shelton (Jerry) of Eastman and Georgia.
