He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Johnson Altizer; his children, John Altizer of Cameron, Ohio and Laura Dolan (Michael) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his siblings, Johnnie Altizer of Buffalo and Lanora Walker of Trenton, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Sonya Altizer, Tanya Altizer, Bradley Heater, Lindsay Dolan and John Michael Dolan; and his great grandchildren, Crimson Altizer, Braxton Heater, Jaxon Heater and Louisa Heater.
