She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reese and Helen Grizzell Reese; her husband Thomas P. O'Brien; and her siblings, Joann Reese, Bill, Bob and Dick Reese.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas O'Brien (Marlene) of Rock Creek, John O'Brien (Kerima) of Woodsfield, Jimmy O'Brien (Tammy) of Woodsfield, Ohio, Susan Shannon (Bob) of Cuyahoga Falls and Tricia Kelly (Mark Wise) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
