He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ayers and Francis Cope Ayers; and his siblings, Kenneth, Robert Ayers and Mary Jean Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Ady Ayers; his children, Michael Glenn Ayers (Christine Truax) of Woodsfield, Ohio and Michele Ann Ayers (Jeffrey Newland) of Woodsfield, Ohio; his grandson Michael Allen Newland; and his brother-in-law Roy Lucas of Colerain, Ohio.
