She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Oglesby and Anne Kostura Oglesby; her sister Carol Seiple; her aunt Mary; her uncle Joseph Lucak; and her cousins, Rev. Deacon Dennis and Helen Lucak.
She is survived by: her husband Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Rade Merick (Ralph); her sons, Nicholas Merick and Dr. Michael Merick (Megan); and her cousins, Maribeth Lucak and Lynda Kostura. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, kumovi and friends.
