She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Glen and Dorothy Lucille Hixson Sr. (Powell); and her husband Donald "Bill" Russell Smart. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Ron Smart of Wilmington, Garry Smart (Denise) of Dayton, OH and Donna Wall (Tom) of Wilmington; her brothers, Harold Hixson Jr. (Erica) of Fairborn, OH and John Hixson (Carolyn) of Delaware, OH; and her pet Trixie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
