He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Hymer and Wilburne Hymer; his siblings, Joyce Ann Hymer and Gary Hymer; and his children, Jason Hymer and Melissa Hymer.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Vance; his daughter Shana Murphy (David); his stepchildren, Jason VanHoose (Verona Rouch), Matt VanHoose (Charlotte) and Amy VanHoose-Nemeth (John Wehrle); and his sister Sue Hammiel (Herb). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.

If desired, contributions may be made to Lighthouse Harbor church in Danny's memory.
