With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy S. Lurty of Willowick, Ohio, born in Flushing, Ohio, who passed away on November 30, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Wayne VanFossen; her husband Robert Lurty; her daughter Beth Lurty; and her brother Wayne VanFossen. She is survived by: her brother Gary VanFossen (Karen); her siblings-in-law, Linda VanFossen and Alan Lurty (Teresa); and her grandson Michael Lurty. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Donations in honor of Dottie can be made to Lake Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd # E, Mentor.
