He was predeceased by: his wife Emma; his grandchild Jesse Dillon; his parents, Jože and Antonija; his brother Milan (late Vida); and his close friend Marie Druzina.
He is survived by: his children, John Grk and Emma Dillon; his grandchildren, Jonas Dillon (Nikki Dozier), Veronica and Angela Grk; his great grandchild Jesse Dillon; his siblings, Frank (late Marija) and Marija Petrac (Louis); and his siblings-in-law, Silva and Frank Božič.
