She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent; her parents, Jakob Zakelj and Marija Zakelj; and her siblings, Rado and Gabe Zakelj.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Vombergar and Marta Futey (Joe); her grandchildren, Ana, Kati Lexi, Vince Vombergar, Joe, Maria and Thomas Futey; and her brothers, Mario (Cathy) and John (late Anne).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeJohn Flynn Mylott Funeral Home - Willoughby Hills (28890 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills, OH 44092). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vitus Church (6019 Lausche Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
