He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Beverly Doganiero and Kimberly Hinkle (David Strnad); his grandsons, Clinton Hinkle (Amy), Richard and Michael Doganiero; and his siblings, Judy Thomas, Geraldine Selph, Emory Hinkle, Jacqueline Bauerlein and Floyd Hinkle.
