He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his parents, Tony Mercadante and Anita Mercadante; his brother Anthony Mercadante; his stepchildren, Jen Garvin (Stephen) and Alex Spike; his grandson Nolan Garvin; his parents-in-law, Don Bronkall and Connie Bronkall; his sister-in-law Tonya Provateare (Marc); his nephews, Max Provateare and Kyle Provateare; and his godparents, Santina Mercadante (Frank) and Anthony Pinto. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Joe can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
