He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clayton and Nellie Mae Armstrong; his son Kevin Armstrong; and his siblings, Shirley Amiott, Janet Smith, Linda Shuemake, Melissa Armstrong, Charles Armstrong and Barry Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly S. Armstrong; his sons, Keith Armstrong (Veronica) of Williamsburg and James Armstrong of Williamsburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Derek, Dustin, Jesse, Jordan Armstrong, Sydney Malakis and Meranda Balkema; his great grandchildren, Kevin Balkema, Castiel Frasure and Piper Armstrong; and his siblings, Loretta Smith and Kent Armstrong.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the New Harmony United Methodist Church in Robert's name.
