She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon J. Smith; her son Michael Smith; and her parents, Clayton Schild and Laura Schild (Herner). She is survived by: her children, Larry E. Smith of Willard, Sharon J. Didion (Ken) of Westlake and David V. Smith of Bellevue; her daughter-in-law Cathy Smith of Michigan; and her brother Howard Schild of Norwalk. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and other relatives.
