He was predeceased by: his wife Ada Merrill (Burch); his son Michael Merrill; and his sister Dawn Lein. He is survived by: his children, Robin Kaiser and Debra Bechstein (Donald); his grandson Owen Merrill (Kelsi); his children, Travis Kaiser (Anna), Ashley Worthen (Jason), Drew Bechstein (Tara), Damon Bechstein (Kari) and Devin Bechstein; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Turner, Jimmy, Jakob, Laurel, Ethan, Kane, Carter, Kinsley, Brayden, Brilynn and Baylen; and his brother-in-law Kenny Elshoff (Lucy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be gifted to the Weston Methodist Church, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the Wood County Fair Foundation.
