He is survived by: his spouse Joan; his children, Jessica and John (Carrie); his grandchildren, Adam and Eddie; his parent Elizabeth Roman; his siblings, Mary Ann McAnerney, Kathy Roman (Michael) and Jean Powe (Greg); and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Whelan (Linda), Justin Whelan (Kathleen), Michael Whelan, Roberta Norwood (Jim) and Heather Cundiff (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
