With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Bates (Westerville, Ohio), who passed away on February 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bates and Beatrice Bates (Doughty); and his siblings, James, Thomas, Paul Bates, Nancy Hammond and Mary Swisher.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Jason Bates (Brandy) and Jaime Peters (Kyle); his grandchildren, Taylor, Jordyn Bates, Kade, Kinley and Kye Peters; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Bates and Samuel Swisher.
