She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blair and Margaret Maunder Blair; and her son-in-law James E. Novak. She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Cartwright; her daughter Holly A. Novak of Plain City; her grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Novak of Cincinnati and Matthew J. Novak of Plain City; her daughter Misty Hibbitts (Larry "Ed") of Hebron Kentucky; and her brother Bill Blair (Kim). She is also survived by many other relatives and good friends.
