He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eckes and Evelyn Eckes; his grandson Connor Logsdon; his brother-in-law Mann; his aunt Norma Conroy; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Helen Frey; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Majewski.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Eckes; his children, Nikki Logsdon (Josh), Richard "Scooter" Eckes (Beth) and Jamie Hull (Kristine); his grandchildren, Cora Eckes, Elliot Logsdon, Lucy Eckes and Sloane Logsdon; and his siblings, George Eckes (Lavonne), Elaine Mann, Rosemary Gates (Will), Paul Eckes (Kathy), Ray Eckes and Martha Eckes. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
