Panagiota D. Marinakis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Panagiota D. Marinakis of West Chester, Ohio, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Kanatas and Chrissa Kanatas (Mendis); her husband Dimitrios G. Marinakis; her son Dr. Bill D. Marinakis; and her siblings, Sophia Kanatas and Konstantine Kanatas.
She is survived by: her children, George D. Marinakis (Helen), Ted D. Marinakis (Katie) and Angela D. Marinakis; her grandchildren, Pamela Marinakis, Sofia Blackstone, James W. Marinakis, Paula Marinakis, Chrissa Marinakis, Dimitri Marinakis, Dimitra Marinakis, Victoria Marinakis, Nicole Marinakis and Constantine W. Marinakis; and her brothers, Nicholas Kanatas and Vasilios Kanatas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Panagiota requested that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Saint Michael Elementary School, 11136 Oak Street Sharonville, OH 45241, as she was grateful to that wonderful institution for the education and virtuous teachings provided to her grandchildren and all students.
