She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Gross and Alta Gross (Roger Hempel); and her brother Julius Gross Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Roger F Hempel; her sons, Roger Hempel (Leslie), Joseph Hempel (Michelle) and Thomas Hempel (Carrie); her siblings, Robert Gross (Bonnie) and Judy Singer; and her grandchildren, Jamie Hempel, Andrea Mauter (Steven), Toria Hempel, Timothy Hempel and Nicholas Hempel.
