He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ola Christine Bishop; his children, Shauna Bishop, Linda Bishop, Cindy Haverson, James Bishop Jr., Doni Bishop and Tina Burgess; his stepchildren, Tereasa Seibert, Cheryl Putty, Lee Edwards and Bemis Edwards; and his sisters, Sue Brown and Doris Cupp. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
