We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2023, at the age of 95, Louisa E. Mathis (West Carrollton, Ohio), born in Maysville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ross Mathis; her parents, Leslie Emmons and Bess Emmons; and her siblings, Alice Litton, Christina Booton, Winona Reeder, Maxine Rankin, John Emmons, Noel Emmons, Robert Emmons and Carey Emmons.
She is survived by: her sister Anita Curtis; her children, Connie Capurro (Dale), Charles Michael Mathis (Karen) and Jeffrey Ross Mathis; her grandchildren, Patrick Capurro (Erin), Philip Capurro (Kathryn), Benjamin Mathis, Caitlin Bell (Calvin), Jessica Seyfried (Aaron) and Zachary Mathis (Tori); and her great grandchildren, Grace, Adeline Mathis, Sadie, Sam Bell, Alina, Cael Capurro, Abigail and Isaiah Seyfried. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, anyone who knew and loved Louisa, find something they can do for someone else, be it a loved one or stranger. Surprise a person or charity with a kind act.
